Fellow club member, Chris Crocket, has had his stunning 1969 MGB selected by Sir Stirling Moss to complete in the "Best in Show Competition" at this year's Goodwood Revival. There are ten cars short listed for each day of the event and the MG is one of the ten for Saturday 13th Sept. The winner is to be decided by public vote.

Next Social Event - Sunday 28th Sepetember - 08:30 to 10:30 - Breakfast "Banter & Butty" Meet at the Lavender Line, Isfield.

The Lavender Line is a 2 mile long steam preserved railway line in the Sussex countryside on the A26 between Lewes and Uckfield. Trains will be running under steam and if its a bit wet breakfast will be served in a railway carriage.

All welcome - no booking.

Early Warning - Sunday 19th October - Southern Classic Society AGM preceded by a 'Drive It'.

The AGM will be held at The Grange (Leisure Centre), Bepton Road, Midhurst, GU29 9HD at 13:15.

The 'Drive It' will start at The Norfolk Hotel, High Street, Arundel, BN18 9AB. Meet from 0945 for a 1015 departure (approx).

There will be a 'coffee/tea stop' at High Beeches Tea Rooms, High Beeches Lane, Handcross RH17 6HQ at approx 11:30 and leaving again at 12:00.
We hope as many members as possible will support the AGM and join the Drive.

Next Show - Sunday 21st September - Last Show of the year Chichester College

Our traditional end of year location and now the location of our two biggest ever shows - the same time last year drew over 220 cars and at the first show of this year Chichester drew 350 cars. Don't miss it - the one to be seen at!
